 I have served Maryborough and surrounding community for the last 6 years and it is our privilege to continue helping this area as well as reaching into adjoining suburbs.

I am focused on providing not only symptomatic relief but corrective and care of patient’s spinal dysfunctions and any associated problems.

 

My approach to the conditions is based on the medical history provided by the patient, extensive testing, diagnostic images and spinal orthopaedic tests.

I provide spinal manipulations, joint mobilisation, dry needling, and rehabilitative exercises and care for the long-term benefit of the patient.

Stress, nutrition, injury and other issues in our daily life may trigger blockages within our energy flow. By correcting these blocks we are able to balance, as well as identify external factors that affect us. This enables us to assess and upgrade performance in all areas of our life.

Tanya has trained in:

She believes in working with clients to find ways to manage pain and improve movement through massages, gentle stretches and self education.

 

Working with the Lymphatic System improves symptoms associated with lymphoedema and fluid retention.

 

Working with both old and new scar tissue can help reduce the severity and restriction of scaring, and improve mobility and range of motion. This is particularly effective post surgery.

 

Oncology Massage offers support to people in all stages of their cancer treatments and assists with managing fatigue, nausea, pain and anxiety  with gentle, safe techniques.

I have been in the natural health industry for nearly 30 years. I have trained in several modalities, including, Hypnotherapy, Herbal medicine, naturopathic nutrition, and Massage.

 

Medical Herbalists and Naturopaths are trained in taking in-depth consultations, ascertaining the root of illness, and formulating individualized herbal prescriptions using traditional principles and scientific evidence.

 

Nutrition is probably the most important thing for our health, If for some reason, we are not able to get all the nutrients we need from food, we can discern any deficiencies and suggest dietary changes or use supplements,

 

Hypnotherapy is a wonderfully relaxing way of dealing with issues such as anxiety, stress, smoking cessation, and weight loss

 

I have trained in different forms of Massage, including Remedial, Lymphatic, hot stone, relaxing and Nadi-sweda Hot herbalised Steam

I am a qualified Bowen Therapist for both People and their Pets.

I have also trained in relaxation massage, nutrition and a range of Natural Therapy modalities that compliment this bodywork.

 

I have owned my own natural therapies business for 13 years and specialise in helping people with acute and chronic problems ranging from muscular pain to relaxation for anxiety, stress and depression.

 

I enjoy seeing the difference in both body and mind by customising treatments to suit each client’s needs and I am passionate about helping people find natural and chemical free alternatives.

I have loved meeting and helping so many people over the years and forming great friendships.

I was born and raised in Maryborough, and have currently 2 years experience in the Massage Industry working alongside Physiotherapists from Kingaroy. 

 

My qualifications and services include:  

Remedial- A targeted treatment of muscles that are tense, knotted and in pain. 

Deep Tissue- a deeper pressure is used in this technique to help break down adhesions in the muscles.

Relaxation- A more gentle approach to massage, promoting circulation, relaxation and endorphins.  

Sports massage- A stronger massage technique to help reduce stress in muscles to help improve exercise performance .

Sports Taping for Joints- Vulnerable muscles, joint and ligaments are supported and stabilized in a neutral position. 

I am trained to complete initial assessments, treatments plans and ongoing therapy goals that will be beneficial for my clients. 

 

Keeping fit with Sports or going to the Gym can be helpful for Mental Health, as well as receiving regular Massages.

Improving the experience of physical pain and discomfort can improve mood and energy.
